i adore your writing so much!! and all the recent sukuita has me feeling so spoiled and doing happy wiggles! thank you for sharing it with us!! ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡
if you're willing to share, how do you pick what to write or which story to focus on? i'm so impressed by not only your writing but how reliable you are when it comes to writing, posting, and finishing fic! i have so many fic ideas sitting in my drafts right now and i can't seem to just pick one and stick to it long enough to finish it before flitting off to a new idea or getting sidetracked by another draft in the pile. but also i'm curious about your writing process anyway bc i think stuff like that is fun to hear about ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
thank you again for all the new sukuita fics - i will be rereading them all on repeat for a while for instant happiness rush (੭˃ᴗ˂)੭

Thank you for the compliments!! I'm glad you like the recent fics! (I also love talking abt my Methods™️so like. im HERE and READY to answer.)

I generally don't have to choose between what to write or what to focus on bc I only work on one thing at a time. I also don't start to post until I'm done the fic. Depending what I work on, there is more or less effort involved; a thread i generally write in 1 sitting and then post w/i the next couple of days. (This is why they have typos LOL)

Tale, Prakriti and Purusha, however, are the exact opposite. All of them took AWHILE to write, and in spite of the typos, I edited all of them at least 3 times. I'm slow as hell w/ multichapters and I don't generally work on anything else in the same time period. Bc I won't finish anything if i switch. If I have another idea while i'm workin on something long, i'll shelve it, and come back to it when I'm in editing mode and need to do something else.

I don't think it's necessary to have something completely finished before posting it, or that anyone has to work on anything one at a time, it just works for me personally. What I do think is necessary is having at least a vague outline of what you want from each thing you write. (or draw!) Is there a particular scene you want to work toward? (my general basis for starting anything) Build a little stick house around it so it makes sense. A concept you want to explore? Make a guideline of what you want from it & what you think is important, etc.

I generally have a pretty detailed outline for long fics, and then a more summary one for shorter fics, but I definitely go crazy w/ it, and don't think the level of effort is necessary for everyone.

(Also bc im insane, if I'm writing something which "requires" research, best believe I'll be doing the research first bc it's generally my driving motivation lmfao. Thin excuses to go and read nonfiction for sport. Most of what I write doesn't actually require research, but I'd combust if I didn't do it and got something wrong.)
