what’s ur fav apart of an art journey?
in my experience, my fav is the time i spend practicing/studying shapes with references then sometime down the line drawing w/o refs and going “I DREW THIS???!??!” when im done bc im surprised i improved 😭
HAHAH I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT U MEAN personally i really like looking back on my old art & going hmmm i should revisit aspect xyz of this. a lotta people hate their old art but it’s actually super interesting to use your own stuff as inspiration (& you get the bonus of seeing yr improvement)! i also like trying out something new, fucking up real bad & feeling ridiculously determined to try again
