i thank the lord both taylor and nick decided to be away from here but yeah if this was like 2 years ago nicholas would be here replying to every single hate comment about his projects. he was never good at shutting his mouth here or even on instagram and blocked people left and right. i just hope he doesn’t see all this stuff when he lurks specially when it’s about his songs cause he loves to sing and dedicate so much time for it

A book and movie about love and kindness, two actors that are super sweet, nice and smart... why isn't the fandom just like them? Always poisoning the good things. Too many stories of actors friendships ruined because of online talk, too many actors with mixed feeling about a project they love because of the fandom of that project. I really hope the nicer accounts in the fandom can get their voice heard more and make those haters go back where they belong.

your other anon is right. even the producer on the sequel announcement day said they would hope everyone on stage would be in the movie and that is probably cause script was not ready so people were not really signed and scheduled conflicts happens and they still probably have no ideia when they will film hanse script and locations scouting take a lot of time so it’s all uncertain

Nick is more mature now, not long ago he would have been on tw answering every single hate comment. Now he has to take the hate without answering back. I mean when he posted the new song from tioy, there were still rwrb fans making fun of him. They know he loves to sing, making those comments just becasue they don't like the movie wasn't nice. He gets mean comments for everything, no wonder he's trying to be away from socials and probably has someone sending him only the nice memes and comments.

I'm with you on the "I don't know how the social thing works" but, since everyone is allowed to write their theories, maybe the trailer was filled with insults just like his other posts so it was better to delete it, especially during the emmy campaign when your profile is more exposed. This are things his team does, just like protecting him by muting key words like rwrb and homophobic. I wouldn't be surprised if someone on his team deleted the trailer just because they were mad at the way fans were acting.

If I were Nick, I'm sorry I would have given the fandom an actual reason to hate me. I can't fathom how he is handling all these with his usual grace and class.

I know you guys don't want to hear it because you think they are already filming💀, but the script isn't done, which means a few cast members aren't signed on yet because some people will not sign a contract without reading the script, so Nick cannot publish that on his IG, in fact, nobody has published anything about being cast in the project , they just posted the announcement from the panel day.

I can see with my own eyes the love Nick has for rwrb and Taylor. He campained for the emmy while also having to campaign for another show, tzp did a few events more. I don't know why he didn't post the glaad award but y'all forget the hate he was reciving by the fandom at that point. We don't know what he was feeling like, I can guess is not nice to read "recast him" and "you're homophobic" comments because he didn't share the sequel announcement, an announcement made with him in the room all happy.
