okay but… bottom sub kook from you would be so good 👉👈

thank you! i think it would too, so i do wish i could get more inspired in that direction ✨ i have one wip that's very in that lane, but i'm not sure if i'll ever have time to work on it. the way i see jk as a character, i do actually think submission comes much more naturally to him, but he also seems to aspire to dominance even though that's less natural for him. so i think part of the reason i tend to write him dom toppy (apart from the fact that i just think it's hot lol) is because i find that inner conflict interesting and inspiring to write about.

unfulfilled desire is interesting, and aspiring to be different than how you are is interesting, so i think the ideas that put him out of his comfort zone in that way are more attractive to me as a writer. in a similar vein, it's why i write hobi as submissive in how good it felt, because i think hobi is kind of a control freak and tends much more naturally toward dominance. in my characterization of him, it's difficult for him to let other people make decisions for him, so it's interesting to me to put him on the wrong foot and make him cope with that. (and i also think it's hot, i don't mean to deny that as a motivation lol! it's important! for whatever reason, i seem to find discomfort very sexy in fiction, it's how i'm wired 🤗)

so anyway, that's kind of a long-winded explanation but i would in theory like to write jungkook as more submissive occasionally for flavor, because i do really enjoy reading about him like that, but those ideas do seem to grab me less! in the meantime, though, i trust other writers to give me good stories in that lane to read. and we'll always have what married people do, where jk is as subby and bottomy as i'll ever write him! he's also a little subby in infinity room but that one's a bit weird since they're both sort of roleplaying in various ways for most of it. the dynamics are kinda mixed up.
