i think the way you imagine it would be is perfect! i'm very flattered that you imagine i'd do a good job with them, but i think part of why my writing does achieve any good outcomes is because i write about characters and ships that i have a rabid interest in, and about which i have a lot to say. i just don't Get namjin in the right way to write about them, like i don't see the dynamic hook! i wouldn't have anything to say, or any distinct angle to explore! which isn't to say it's a Bad Ship or whatever, i've read and enjoyed namjin occasionally, i just don't have the shipper goggles i'd need to have to recreate what it is about them that speaks to people, y'know? i'm namjin colorblind basically, so i can't replicate a namjin rainbow that i cannot see. it's best that the fic you imagine i'd write for them continue to exist in your mind palace, where it can capture the essence of what you love about them together!
