Mika Kagehira first met Shu Itsuki when he was a child, after having run away from his orphanage. He happened to come upon Shu, who dressed in clothes so beautiful Mika could barely comprehend that Shu was the same being as himself. Once Shu enrolled in Yumenosaki Academy, he gained quickly gained popularity and made some TV appearances. Mika recognized Shu through the TV and enrolled in Yumenosaki Academy, hoping to at least see his beauty up close one more time. While originally not intending to be an idol, he ended up wanting to dedicate himself to Shu's art.
