mm honestly at this point of their relationship i wouldnt say so? i believe theyve since confessed to each other so neither of them would consider each other friends. at least unlabeled and at most something deeper than that. but if i were to give it more thought mtw could be singing about his feelings from how things used to be between them 🌝 in that case i’d place it with his thoughts/emotions from right before the february japan trip
