I'm not so much into it as part of a kink scene, or where the characters themselves are kinking on it, but as part of hurt/comfort or whump where the character (let's say Mob) is hurt or incapacitated to the point of losing control of their bowels. The embarrassment and shame, the feeling of dirtiness, the helplessness and shock from experiencing lack of control over such a basic and primal bodily function, is all SO appealing to me. and then for shipfic, the h/c of the person who's caring for them (let's say Reigen.) having to see them in that state, take care of them, clean them up. so much potential for tension and more shame and weirdly intimate vulnerability that neither of them asked for or expected but now they're having to deal with anyway! for mrm specifically i love reigen throwing himself into all sorts of situations another person might balk at without a second thought because Mob Is The Most Important Thing, so it's fun to think of him being the support pillar for sick/horribly injured Mob to lean on as the one point of comfort in the middle of a physical and emotional nightmare.

waugh. i just want my fave to suffer and get cared for, basically. this specific scenario is pretty rare though as you can imagine jfksvdla;;; i think i've only read two fics with this sort of set-up. sigh.
