Am ı the only one that got sick of these who is top who is bottom discourses. ı truly feel like these people don't know how sex and sex life work. Sex is just like a scenario that depends on both sides feelings, and sometimes a couple plays some roles or it happens naturally. If one feels tired or wants to get cared for, they would give the lead to the other person This happens naturally, or before the whole thing, they would take the submissive role and do the things other people say, and since this is Ei and Miko (they are the ones giving the orders in normal life), being a normal person and obeying the orders given to them would make them both weak.Or when one side's emotional feelings go top for the other, they would naturally be more dominant.Or when they want too make their partner feel good, they would be more dominant, of course.And once again, since this is Ei and Miko (they love each other so much), seeing the other one make noises out of pleasure or visibly having a great time would also make them go weak. Yet some people are thinking being bottom or top is some kind of long-lived role, and truth be told, people that are obsessed with Miko tops EI or EI tops Miko are usually mischaracterizing the character getting topped (they turn ei into a child that can't do anything against Miko, and Miko plays with her. and turns miko into someone that is immature and does nothing but give headache too ei, and in the end always gets humiliated by ei.)
i dont think there is any discourse, there is just this one side that is contrarian and always makes sure to remind everyone of it, and that’s kinda all

i think i had an ask like this but it’s ok i will write a new answer.. uhh i don’t think i have any strong pet peeves, i mostly read emk works set in the canon setting bcs i fear the complete rework of their characters. i also have strong t/b prefs for them but i won’t go off on a tangent here.. my experience gets soured when people forget about miko’s coding.. like whenever they talk about her past sex experiences (which is also a pet peeve unless it’s written well) and they include men HELP.. idk as long as it’s not bordering on mischaracterization, it’s all fine
