i have talked about this just recently but we shall proceed anyway. i don’t see current!ei being capable of getting intoxicated with alcohol. though miko still manages to persuade her to join her drinking escapades under the pretext of needing a partner for that, which ei can’t really say no to. we know that miko used to be an (emotional) lightweight, but she outgrew that with time, and now she cannot be swayed with a couple of drinks this fast. still doesn’t convince me that she doesn’t get covered in all-pink, from her cleavage up to her face, which makes an adorable and sentimental sight for ever-sober ei. i also feel like ei’s presence + just one bottle of alcohol would be enough to make miko lose control over her furry appendages.. i just know her tails would thrash furiously, accidentally smiting everything and everyone (ei).. in general, drunk miko is intense (especially when she gets beyond the tipsy level): emotional, overwrought, angry, but simultaneously pitiful. but i believe by the end of it all she would just get tired and shift into her tiny fox form to have rest.. preferably in ei’s arms all snuggled up of course. for pre-cata ei(miko) it could be a toss up tbh fjskdk i think to contrast miko’s low tolerance it would make more sense for ei to be quite resilient. i think her general experience and life longevity wouldn’t make her a forever lightweight so it should work.. as for her behavior then.. uhhh i guess she used to be rly overprotective, inexplicably clingy, restless, clumsy, but always responsible for taking care of absolutely wasted miko (carrying her out of the inn in her arms or sheltering her eeping body when sitting against the trunk of the tree).. some of these traits already exist in the usual ei, but they would manifest more strenuously when drunkjdjf

me n friend occasionally bring this up, it rly feels like the majority of postsumeru ships in both gi and hsr feel manufactured to the core. almost neither of them will have the longevity of more elaborated baits like tartali, let alone sincerely written ships like eimiko.. not to say that all hsr ships are made in this vein, but many of them feel like that imo.. (giving multiple baits to one character and then moving onto the new character set), gi does this job better even though the themes are not as bold i guess.. idk i just feel rly disinterested in everything, the only post-eimiko ship that made me feel like I Could Theoretically invest myself in it was haikaveh but i successfully resisted.. and in hsr i just like jingheng the most and i think it’s mostly bcs its writing is reminiscent of eimiko/gi shipping model imo

hoyo wlw spaces are just not habitable at this pointjrjr shipping was made into fast fashion and nothing ever sticks, no analyses, not much thinking, just tumblr piled delusions and tropes that don’t even fit. then some head artist comes up with a poorly substantiated crackship and everyone flocks to it. repeat. i talked about it once but for emk specifically people just successfully boxed them into a married couple (bcs of aq alone) and assumed there was nothing else to talk about when its gravely wrong. kv as you said was a point of conflict for so long yet it was disappointingly ignored by the shippers. so much info for inz worldbuilding, miko’s sincerity, her love for ei that stood time, her relationship with mortals and some known inhumans, her motivations, etc.., but everyone including the shippers hyperfocused on the task to defend eimiko from proship allegations or whatever ITS JUST STUPID..

i am also way too attached to them like FAWKKK its just way too conflicting bcs on one hand i want to continue talking about them bcs literally no one else does but on the other hand this fandom is built like that, i literally only trust like 5 people and they are OOMFS…. i am putting a blame on hsr existence for reshaping the wlw shippers bcs now its just a putiana assembly with zero value or interest going on and on top of that we have way more manufactured discourses its completely insufferable on here. with eimiko it just gets infinitely sadder bcs literally what other ship has potential or material like them and all of that just gets WASTED… both in the underrated sense but also their shippers dont know shit about them and majorly here only for yuri points like god, sometimes it rly feels like they dont like them. aside from bunch of other wlw shipdoms that openly dislike them like lol we are very unique in this sense. all smartys have left the fandom in the distant 2022, now its just a parade of passive shippers and clout chasers, people who weaponize them in said meaningless discussions, with a concentration of actual enjoyers being like 3% at best. so as always i will just try to think positively aka give up on the hopes of having a functional, even if small but FUNCTIONAL, fandom, and just cope for hyv canon food. nothing else

i think people are certain that it’s not even in miko’s style to combat anyone bcs she is too graceful but also lazy, and all of this weirdly leads to people underestimating her strength.. is she prone to avoiding the unnecessary fights - well, yes. but it doesn’t mean she is weak, she is just very resourcefulfkkd i also like how eimiko would be complementary both in the gameplay and also the battlefield itself, they are a perfect duo in every possible sense..

and i also wish that she bit someone’s head off.. seeing an elegant fox envoy being uncharacteristically covered in someone else’s blood would be such a sight.. they should stop gatekeeping her sadistic side from the players and just get into it
