i honestly enjoyed it. im an avid fan of good banter and this film’s dialogue was one of my favorite things about it

the cinematography is amazing, as expected. i do feel like it could have made its point without being shot on film though. imo shooting it on film was purely for aesthetic, which i guess translates well since its trying to show the lavish lifestyle of aristrocrats

there were a few plotholes that i noticed (farleigh and duncan) and id love to know what happened lol i feel like it would ruin the ending if those were covered thats why they werent

one thing i feel like should have been revealed was that felix and venetia were totally fucking (see: felix accidentally fingering his cousin on the hallway, venetia saying ‘so felix warned you off then?’ and ‘felix doesnt like sharing his toys’ - by toy she means herself, felix’s cutting off a friend who hooked up with venetia, venetia kissing oliver because she smelled felix’s aftershave on him) BUT im kinda glad it wasnt confirmed or revealed lmao thats fun

anyway 4 stars because nothing is perfect, except my girlfriend. if she was a movie, id give her 5 stars
