you’re not being selfish at all - your friend/roommate is being both a bad friend and roommate by putting you in this position. she has every right to want to move, but clearly she didn’t give any consideration as to how this would affect you and that’s deeply unfair. is there anything at all you can do to help you find a roommate as opposed to moving? housing groups with other people searching for roommates? asking irl friends on social media? had y’all already told your landlord you were resigning?
unfortunately i don’t have any irl friends available to move in with and i quite literally don’t even Know anyone else so my only other option is to live alone but i can’t afford that post-graduation since i won’t have time for a job til then and am out of savings so that’s not actually an option in the first place
my roommate doesn’t Know my situation yet bc i can’t even look at her without wanting to scream and sob and make her understand what situation i’m in bc of her but that is NOT fair and i don’t actually want to burn that bridge bc she’s still my best friend and lashing out at her for wanting to grow isn’t fair to her but also. Fuck. ya know. lol
we haven’t told the complex yet but she’s technically the main lease holder since she made the account before we (me & my mom, the main rent payers by fucking 2/3) could even think abt it so honestly i should make her be the one to tell them since we’re way past the mandatory 60 day notice and she’s the one who changed her mind despite TELLING ME she was down for another year
idk. idk. i don’t have time to find both a rando to move in with And a new apartment when i don’t have stable finances since my mom was only willing to help bc there was established trust w my current roommate which has now been broken 😭 i’m fully on my own now which like yea i’m an adult i should know this by now but i didn’t think THIS would happen??? we’re meant to be best friends??? i thought we were on the same page??? so like what the fuck 😭

I love thinking about Alex winning a super tough case that he’s been working on for months and he goes out to celebrate with his colleagues and comes home so tipsy he just kisses all over Henry’s face and henry just giggles nonstop until Alex just ends up falling asleep

i just answered the bare minimum but some more details: my roommate is quite literally my Best Friend and she’s awful at maintaining relationships w anyone who isn’t in her daily life (she’s said And i’ve witnessed this) so i’m losing her friendship too and she gave me barely ANY heads up that she’s leaving esp bc she just said like a month ago that she wants to sign the lease here and then did Not loop me in on her plans so now i’m truly genuinely FUCKED bc my dad in and of himself is a nightmare, never mind living in his rat/bug infested house 😭 but i quite literally have no other choice so! that’s so much fun! and idk what i’m supposed to do now! :D

my roommate gave me Barely a month’s heads up that she will not in fact be signing our new lease and i cannot afford to live alone and she did NOT give me enough notice to find a rando to life with so now i have to move back in w my trump supporting alcoholic father whose wife doesn’t like me bc she didn’t give me Nearly enough time to figure out ANY other solution :D

ohhhhhh that’s such a good question omg… i think i would care more after they were outed if that makes sense?? in like a ‘fuck that Sucks no one deserves this’ sort of way?? and then when they confirmed it i’d probably watch video essays abt the timeline rather than reading the emails bc that feels so much more invasive but my curiosity would def be piqued bc unfortunately i do love love and gay people and gay love specifically fhshdjck i think i’d treat them like i do taylor & travis in the sense that i love when they share things willingly but i won’t seek out additional/private info ya know
