i think the answer to this is probably no… kizu does seem to retain the memories and experiences he’s had when fronting, he just typically doesn’t. reflect on them if that makes sense. if you’re wondering about why he acts so weird around cain specifically it’s because he doesn’t rly see cain as a person moreso than he does an ideal — which is also how he treats most things around him, also… to kizu, cain is not “cain”, he’s “mister knight”. but “mister knight” doesn’t have to be cain specifically, cain simply embodies the concept most accurately in kizu’s mind. this is why he started clinging to oz in ms2 rather than cain, because oz was kind and patient with him, whereas cain left him alone, and so oz ‘became’ “mister knight” — not that kizu outright calls oz that, but it’s the principle of the thing. so it’s not that kizu forgets who ppl are, it’s more than he just doesn’t really care about the Who and more about the What 😭
