SO. the cool thing about the marauders fandom is its literally like 98% fan made LMAOOO regulus' name isn't even said 5 times in the actual series and it's like for one scene 😭😭 there's like little to none canon info on sirius and regulus' upbringing, i mean reg literally fucking died at 18 and he doesn't even have a canon birthday, all we know is he was born in 1961 and died destroying one of voldemorts horcruxes. also the fandom just agrees as a whole on a LOT of things 😭😭 james is commonly headcanoned as desi but a lot of people also hc him as latino, sirius and regulus are french, remus is always welsh or irish, pandora and evan are usually grouped as twins since pandora doesn't have a canon maiden name and evan is more often than not written as asexual, EVERYONE IS QUEER 🗣🗣, the relationship between siri and reg will tear you to shreds there is no avoiding it, mary is ALWAYS an icon, barty is always written so fuckinh well I LOVE HIM he's so fucking spiteful 😭😭 he's a mommas boy and hates his father, THERES JAMES' PARENTS EUPHEMIA AND FLEAMONT they are literally the best fictional parents ever, argue with the WALL. a lot of people agree on things like james having adhd, sirius and barty having bpd, sirius being genderfluid, reg being autistic and trans, etc etc. the fandom LIVES to spite jkr 😭😭 like oh u didn't want to give us canon wolfstar? good luck finding ANY material online saying they aren't. also sorry wolfstar is LITERALLY canon, THEY WERE SOOOO IN LOVEEEEEEEE3. also there's so many cute ship names for james x reg 😭😭 starchaser?? sunseeker?? GET OUTTTTTTT ugh. like the fandom has also just collectively decided on the personalities that all of these characters have and it's so delightful!! i LOVEEE marlene x dorcas btw. they are real and forever together in my heart, ESPECIALLYYYY RIVALS TO LOVERS DORLENE GODDD!! umm the fandom is quite allergic to happiness though so </3 YOUD TJINK IN A FANDOM WHERE.LIKE ANYTHING GOES WE 2OULD CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY but nooooooooo. also i love rockstar sirius, he holds a very special place in my heart. sirius WOULD love david bowie, james WOULD love queen, they absolutely would have a bond like no other. james and sirius go so far beyond platonic soulmates like there's not enough words to even BEGIN to describe their friendship. they're best friends, platonic soulmates, brothers, they are each others other half, the others heart and lungs, without james there is no sirius and without sirius ther3 is no james. remus and regulus' friendship is also very special to me. like yes, they would make snarky comments to each other under their breath while surrounded by their idiots (siri and james) and just general idiots (the rest of the population) LIKE UGHHHHH. also i love reg and his friend group, they're commonly referred to as the slytherin skittles and i think that's adorable. his group consists of him, barty, evan, dorcas, and pandora! pandora is actually almost never written as a slytherin, instead she's a ravenclaw! ANYWAYY i love barty and reg being bffs :( like yes they ARE. they just get each other like ????? god. i need all of them in a jar so i can shake them around <3
