I'm not sure if it's ever been asked, but do you have a world for yourself that you've made for your bird boys or a story or anything you have that you wanted to write them as a part of?
I do yes! It is still in the process of being fleshed out, but I do have a rough story for them planned out.
Honestly though, they are my oldest ocs and have seen various iterations of their world and timelines, they used to have more of a modern slice-of-life story before it shifted to something else. Still, it's fun to figure them out and play around with their characters
Would Oscar and Wes preen each other? Also have you ever seen two birds share food before? It looks like a kiss depending on the bird
Oooooo yeah those are really cute ideas! I do imagine them doing the whole feather fluff thing when they are comfy or affectionate, it's really cute to me.
Their favourite drinks?
Oscar likes a nice old fashioned or white russian. Wes drinks more ciders and sours. For non-alcoholic, they both love coffee, Wes loves grapefruit juice even though Oscar hates it (though he can trust that his jug of grapefruit juice won't be touched)
Are there any songs you associate with them, both individually and as a couple?
Oh I've made a playlist for them actually! You can find it here (art by aledonrex): https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6rOxIOKAxNWNdDp2hZE2Ut?si=a3f720942f98433a
What do each of them like to do in their spare time?
Wes loves old electronics, will try to collect them and fix them up. Otherwise he likes to read, mostly non-fiction and comics/graphic novels/manga. Oscar loves films; he'll watch old westerns, b-movies, thrillers, horror, kung-fu/wuxia, classics, etc etc. At one point he wanted to become a director, and was considering studying film. He also loves writing, he's published before but hasn't published anything else in a while, but he does like to write scripts/screenplays, fiction pieces, and occasionally (rarely) poetry.
Do Oscar and Wes have a system about who washes the dishes? Or do they argue about it?
They've both adopted a mutually understood rule: if you didn't cook, you do the dishes. They both clean after themselves when they do kitchen stuff (clean pans/knives/cutting boards etc while things are cooking), so it applies to dishes used for eating.
Who's Horner most of the time, Oscar or Wes?
Wes has a higher libido than Oscar, and is more dom tbh. They are both verse/switch, Oscar leans more top (except for Wes)
Between Oscar and Wes, who likes to cook and who likes to bring something home to eat after work?
Hmmmm they tend to be quite busy and have limited cooking ability. Wes only knows how to cook breakfast food, and while Oscar isn't an AMAZING cook he is very good at making meals on a budget.
why doncha just draw em makin out
You gotta build up to it (also idk how to draw birds making out, thats hard)
Why do you sometimes lock your own account? Not angry, just curious...
It really depends, sometimes its out of anxiety and sometimes its because Im maybe applying for something and I dont want this account to be immediately visible (just as a precaution)
Are any of your guys a complete sucker for physical affection? Like a smooch on the cheek or belly rubs and they're like putty in your hands?
Dean definitely loves the affection, touch is def one of his big love languages. Emmett also loves to touch as well.
not rlly a question but monty is so cute, ,
awww thank you! I love him very dearly
Who's most likely to listen to a musician nobody's heard of before?
Monty most likely, he loves music with all his soul. Otherwise, I think Dean since its kind of his job lol
Do any of your ocs partake in odd hobbies or pastimes?
Wes loves old electronics, like tape recorders and oscilloscopes and such, he loves to collect and repair them. Monty, aside from music, really loves doing field recordings, and will often just take sound recordings of ambience around him.
which of your ocs would survive the best in a post apocalyptic world?
I guess my robots since they kinda already live in one, but otherwise maybe Wes and Emmett
