Popular is such a strong word, but I find it all depends on luck and connections! But that also might be because I don't specifically TRY to gain followers

For most of my art accounts over the years I was really lucky, for twitter in particular when I started out I had some friends who had TONS more followers than me, so them retweeting my stuff every once in a while helped to get people see my art more easily!

Similarly, I got daily Leon kicked off rather quickly, as I already posted resident evil on my main for months before, and therefore already had people who followed me for that stuff

It is all fandom related however, once I would post original or OC art the amounts of likes would go down to 50 max. I dont mind though, Im used to it and have gone through this cycle for literally a decade, so even some people liking my personal art is really flattering 🙏
