Tales of Destiny is a pretty good starting place. You've definitely heard of the best starters (the trio of games that came out on 3 seperate consoles - Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia) but its nearly impossible to play Symphonia in a way that is good, Abyss Sucks For Real I Mean That, and Vesperia is pretty good - if you have a Switch/Steamdeck I'd reccommend it
