Do you think being asexual influences your view of Fassbinder? Obviously he’s very horny but he seems to have a very sort of zoomed out objective cynical view of relationship dynamics and sexual desire and I’m wondering if that resonates at all

i think that being able to look at sexuality in his films is fascinating because i have a certain distance from sexual attraction as a whole so it's kind of the same as somebody with no interest in sports watching something like moneyball and still getting caught up in the intrigue of it all
