okay so im really curious about the fic writing process like do you have the full story done and you just split the fic in parts or do you write the parts separately? if so, do you plan the story and know the ending or you just go with the flow and figure out the rest of the fic?? I've always wondered how it goes expecially for such a good writer as you are ❤️
firstly that's sweet thank you 🥲🩷 for me i often just start writing with a concept and a few random scenes in mind. lately i've been trying to outline more because even though things change as i write and i always go off track, it's good to have an idea of where i want to go with the story/how i want to end it. for this fic, i finished chapter 2 before posting 1 because i knew writing ch2 would give me a better idea of the themes and the dynamic i wanted to explore, so i could go back and edit everything in ch1 to make it cohesive before posting. i haven't started ch3 yet - so far it's just a small list of things i want to include, and ch4 is even more fuzzy because i don't know how ch3 will go yet.. SO YES that's basically it. ofc it's different for everyone but it does often feel like the minsung demons are in my hair controlling me ratatouille style i am powerless to their whims please help Lol.
