Aren't you a software engineer? Or are software engineers not real engineers?

The title of engineer is protected in Canada, and because I never followed any scholarship programs, I cannot technically call myself an engineer.

So I call myself an analyst programmer. (Could maybe say system or embedded but I never did those either way)
