Contrary to Kouyou and Verlaine, I never hated or disliked yosano. I actually had a big simpathy for her. Having a suicidal loved one that keeps like that for years is not easy, it depresses her at the same time and tires her out because taking care of it is a big deal. She always tried her best even if sometimes she would just give up on him but at the same time no. And that's so relatable, she wants to try but at the same time she just ressignated that dazai's gonna die someday :(
I understand dazai too, he feels she doesn't deal with it well and that annoys him. But they loved each other still
Also, at what age was dazai abandonated by his mom and given to Mori? I suppose he was a baby, but was he a newborn or a few months old?

yeah, yosano did the best she could. she learned to accept it, but had the hope that maybe chuuya could at least get through to him. she would get frustrated with him sometimes too, but ultimately she understood that he wasn't going to change. but she can't not love and care about him, and vice-versa.
he was a bitty baby! maybe a year old, but definitely younger than something mori wanted to deal with. his siblings helped raise him, which only ended up with them getting tired of him or frustrated, hence why he's only close with the half-siblings closer to his age (yosano, ranpo, ango)
