im really into the way less prominent characters have a way of showing up in your fics. makes the world feel large-scale, compared to when people hyperfocus only on the popular cast
i know its probably not that deep (dont like creating OCs due to laziness) but if i MAKE it deep: i dont think you can know a person or character if you only see one or two perspectives of them. i do prefer to get introspective in my writing (cos im pretentious) so its by necessity that i have to involve the minor characters, otherwise i cant show a different side to the main attractions
