The painkillers help just for few hours so I’ve stopped taking them~~ I am taking a break from writing for a few days again because my work also requires a lot of typing and my hands can’t quite keep up with everything I want them to do lmaoo. THE WEBTOON POWERS. Honestly, I did consider it, but then I ended up realizing I needed a stronger element of conflict from the powers they possessed~ I think you’ll get what I mean when I post the fic. This also reminds me. I have a lore jayhoon fic planned too based on the trailer!! It’ll be kinda vagueish and short like the demon fic, but it’ll happen once I am able to write without going oww oww every two minutes(laugh crying) heli and his cute temple~ he’s like everyone must know I am a telepath or that i have a headache!!

Jay is gonna be super insistent with hoon in the vamp fic haha! And then he successfully emotionally blackmails him because come on, hoon can’t stand to see his jongseong disappointed~~ The fangs. I can already tell you’ll love one scene lmaoooo (There will definitely be some biting by hoon. I mean. He’ll be biting One person. Park Jongseong~~)

Thank you for recognizing the different takes! I love me some cliché aus~ but at the same time, I think it’s incredibly fun to explore slightly different angles. For example, the F1 AU and hunger games au~~ I used to watch moto gp every now and then around two years ago, but adulting has taken my attention away. So I know enough to gamble a little in the arena, but not much~~ The inspiration was basically twitter suggesting f1 stuff to me in the middle of the night when I was in my little emo, angsty gremlin zone lmao, so I thought why not PAIN. You don’t need to know a lot of technical stuff to understand the fic, I will add notes if I add anything particularly specific to the au~~ so don’t worry!

Unfortunately, I haven’t played or watched the last of us~~ but I have seen it on the tl and watched many edits of the iconic bill and frank scenes because of the twt algorithm! Are you a fan, anon? by fun scenes, I mean some bamf hoon and jay moments where they save each other and some nuanced scenes where their relationship grows~ also, these are spoilers, but I’ve got nothing to lose, so I’ll tell you one of them! Hoon’s an office worker who used to be an ice skater in the fic. Even if it’s the apocalypse, amidst all the essentials he carries with him is the last pair of skates he used before he retired. Jay nags him throughout the fic for carrying what is not an essential item, but in one of the scenes, they kinda get ambushed. And while escaping, they obv don’t have time to take everything. Hoon leaves the skates behind. Two days later, he wakes up to find jay gone. He goes on a mad dash to find him and sees him on the way, lugging a familiar bag. You can imagine how it goes. The boy you met randomly and felt divided on saving because you can trust no one in the apocalyptic world and yet you did and said boy nags you left and right, but he still puts his life on the line for your silly pair of skates even if he doesn’t know you used to skate or why it’s so important to you? That’s basically a love of a lifetime Hoon: HAND IN MARRIAGE PLEASE Jay: BRO GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU STINK. FIND A RIVER BEFORE YOU PROPOSE, YOU NEANDERTHAL! So it’ll be angst-ish but also there’s a lot of hope~ jay is hope in the fic. Hoon goes from ‘we’re all gonna die anyway, so I’ll do what I can to survive until I can’t’ to ‘No matter what happens, I want to spend my life with him. I wanna see him grow old. I wanna grow old with him, I wanna be there beside him for all the sunrises and sunsets he sees for as long as I can, and I’ll fight fate for it every step of the way!’

The vampire/vampire hunter! Jay is the vampire! Hoon is the hunter. They kinda have this very obvious rivalry, but also they have saved each other a few times. Classic enemies to lovers where neither of them are actual enemies, just mildly inconvenienced by the other’s presence. The fic picks up in the middle of things. As in, they’re both straddling an odd line when it comes to conversations but there’s some plot action, so they’ll have to figure a lot of stuff out~ the inspiration for this was the dark blood trailer scene where hoon is on the ground and he stabs ni-ki only to look up and see that it’s not ni-ki anymore, but jay~ this fic will have fledgling vampire ni-ki whose sire is jay btw. He loves hoon because he's pretty and nice, but also because he gets to nag jay about him and ruin his peace~~ important cute vampire menace duties~

It's hard to pick a favorite and there are a lot more ideas, but I’d say that for now, the favorite might be the vampire/vampire hunter au~ but ask me two minutes later and the answer will change~~ I am an indecisive person when it comes to fic ideas haha!!

P.S. JAYHOONKI. JAYHOONKI. ANON, I LOVE THEM!! They’re literally my fave pairing right after jayhoon~~ I have an idea floating around my head for them set in the marvel universe. I don’t know if you’ve watched the movies. It’s an odd idea, and the premise is the Blip. So, the idea is that Hoon gets snapped when Jayhoon are together. (I’ve messed with the timeline a bit, the time heist happens five years after the Snap, but in the fic, it is three years) the fic begins with hoon coming back after getting erased for three years. When he gets back, he finds that jay is in a relationship with ni-ki. He grieved hoon for a long time and went to a support group where he met ni-ki and they fell in love. The fic is basically jay asking hoon to stay because what else can you tell the love of your life whom you still grieve and all of them tiptoeing around each other and having very complicated feelings about what has happened. Hoon rightly thinks that jay betrayed him but at the same time, he realizes that three years is a long time for jay when it felt like literal seconds for hoon because he was essentially wiped off the face of the earth. And jay didn’t know hoon was coming back either, so he can’t exactly claim that he cheated either. Ni-ki tries to get closer to hoon to make him understand that jay didn’t do anything wrong but hoon is still in love with jay. jay is obv still in love with hoon as well. it’s a whole mess lmao so we’ll get some polyamory negotiations and a lot of care and concern and angst!
