For me, I think most often (because sometimes it really depends!!) I like Wriothesley falling first and Lyney being in denial for a LONG time - because it's /Wriothesley/, who Lyney sees as some annoying, know-it-all, kind of bad guy but also never actually really a bad guy. It's a lot of baggage for Lyney to get through, I think. There's initial attraction but he'd convince himself it's just shallow, until suddenly it isn't, because when did Wriothesley get so easy to rely on, and so sweet, and so, everything else.

I like the idea though that Wriothesley thinks it's not that deep too until one day Lyney half reciprocates his flirting or touches and he's like, oh shit i'm really in it now akhdnfjkhfn
