Hello! No, the writer portfolio is not mandatory for the application! If you're submitting a portfolio, we encourage putting on samples that are not the same as your sample links.

Since this a charity zine, the contributors will get the digital zines and any digital merch for free! Contributors will also be able to buy the physical zine and any merch at manufacturing price!

Kitten has acted as the finance, production, and shipping mod on two successful zines before! Most recently, it worked on the Pacific Rim Zine, From the Edge of Hope where it handled over 400 orders and donated more than $10,000 to charity. It takes its job as a mod very seriously and will do everything it can take to make sure this project is successful too!

Hi! No worries at all. A zine pitch is, in short, one or two sentences describing a piece you would like to create for the zine! For example, if I'm a writer applying for the SFW section, I would pitch something like this: "It's been a days since Izuku has seen his partners who were supposed to go scavenging for food but never made their way back. He gathers all their meagre belongings and ventures outside, against all his instincts screaming at him to stay put."

Hi! For the application, tdbkdk doesn't have to be romantic, and can be gen/platonic. Your piece for the zine should depict their relationship as romantic, however!
