i have this headcanon where dave is a lost deity from the 3d realm and they were the one who created expunged but after they entered the 2d/real world they would stay there for a long time and forgot their original form and was stuck inside a human form for now, and expunged slowly got too much power and became the new god of the 3d realm and haunts dave despite not knowing dave is his creator
