Hi, firstly, love your comic so much! Secondly, do you have any process for designing background characters or picking species, and is there any you haven’t drawn yet that you’d like to?

(And as a matter of personal preference have you ever considered a meerkat, I’d love to see one in your style!)

yeah! so in the comics, i try to limit to just large land animals! so no bugs, fish, fantasy creatures, etc. but a mouse is totally fine. beyond that i'll usually just pick animals at random or cameo friends haha, so a meerkat is definitely on the table!
