but its basically just kalim having like, no will to live or protect himself n jamil having to work overtime to make sure he doesnt walk into danger. jamil doesnt hate kalim himself as much as he does in canon bc hes just like. not fucking doing anything. he still gets passed up for kalim (tho its more everyone else trying to get some life into him than just inflating his ego like in canon). n kalim thinks that being heir isnt worth getting almost killed everyday
