When do you think the leftover sale will begin?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have an estimated timeframe for leftovers as we're still in our preorder production period.
We highly recommend joining our mailing list to be notified of any dates one we know more, or follow/set alerts for our socials so you don't miss out!

Any you going to sell any leftovers?
Yes! Once all preorders have been fully shipped and we have a final count on how much stock is remaining, our shop will open for leftover sales. However, we anticipate leftovers for physical goods to be extremely limited! We suggest joining our mailing list or following our socials closely to be notified.

Hello! Wanted to ask if the Canada Post strike will affect shipping to Canadian zine-buyers, and what would plans be if so? Sorry, I've just been anxious, thank you ^^
Shipping to Canada shouldn't be affected! Should the strike continue during our shipping period, Canadian packages will be sent via UPS or Fedex until the Canada Post strike ends.

Any updates on shipping progress?
Due to a larger than expected number of preorders, our manufacturing timelines have been extended and shipping will start later than anticipated. Currently, we estimate being able to ship in late January to February! We’ve updated our public information with this new estimated timeframe.
We will send out an email to those who ordered with an update once we’re closer to shipping orders!

As the digital PDF features a wide variety of bonus content in addition to the content of our physical zine, our team is working hard to ensure that it is perfectly formatted and meets all quality assurance checks before being sent out. We expect the digital PDF to be sent out after physical orders are shipped.

Our socials will also be rolling out a series of product updates over the next few weeks.

Would it be possible to extend the preorders for one more day? I just found this zine and it's so cute T-T
Unfortunately because we have placed the full orders for many items already, it is not possible to extend preorders! However, please keep an eye on our socials for our leftover sales! After preorders are shipped, we will be opening our shop to sell our remaining stock, so there will be another chance to purchase the zine!

While future plans are not set in stone, it is highly unlikely we will ever do a reprint as this would involve coordination with over 60 project participants!

Hi, I'm not familiar with buying zines. How do leftover sales work exactly? Are they the same price as preorders?
Preorders and leftovers are similar in concept! The advantage of preorders is that we know exactly how many items we need to order. We will order extras of each item so that we also have some to sell during leftover sales, but because we can't predict the exact number of items that will actually be left over (since some will arrive damaged), leftover sales will depend on the actual availability of each item which we will only know after preorders are fully shipped.
While we currently anticipate being able to sell the exact same bundles during leftovers as during preorders (at the same cost), it is possible that if we have a large surplus or deficit of any individual item, we may end up changing around the bundles to suit our remaining stock. It is also possible we will offer what most zines call an 'a la carte' option, which is the ability to purchase individual items outside of bundles.
One thing to note is that stretch goals are currently only guaranteed for our preorder purchases. While it is definitely possible we will be offering the same stretch goals items for our leftover bundles, we cannot guarantee anything at this stage because we just don't know how many of each item we'll end up having left!
So the tl;dr is that preorder sales have unlimited stock, while leftover sales will be subject to availability. The prices for bundles (if they remain the same) will also remain the same! Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions!

Is there any plans to sell the pot holder separately like with the apron?
The pot holder will not be sold separately during the preorder stage. There is a possibility that the pot holder may be sold separately during the leftover period, but because leftovers will depend on stock we unfortunately cannot make guarantees at this time regarding the bundle options!

What’s a clear card (from the share goal)?
A clear card is a transparent, plastic card that's often used as a prop in photos! For example, you can hold our zine's clear card up in front of dishes you've cooked!

When do you charge payment - when the order is placed, or when the order is shipped? I had to use a card that's expiring this October, so I was just wondering if that's going to cause a problem or not. Happy to update my payment method once I get the new card, but wasn't sure if it would be a problem or not, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
