Assuming that you’re going for general surgery residency, then I’d suggest you keep your mind open for continuous learning. Unlike the foundation years, this programme is more taxing, and we expect you to be willing to work, learn, and repeat. Surely, the key is to make sure you know when to take a break and ask for help. Anything else should come easy if it’s really your passion to pursue it. Good luck!
