It is. It’s fucked up that the terms of service that went into effect today made it to where artists and writers could no longer opt out of training X’s AI. Their work can be scraped and utilized by people who don’t care to receive direct consent.

It’s fucked up that even if you deactivate, your tweets still live on in X’s archive and can STILL be utilized.

It’s fucked up that I had to pay money to mass delete 13K tweets and thousands of direct messages that held fond memories, connections with people I adore, and content that I was extremely proud of but had no time to gather.

It’s fucked up that because of ONE sleazy money hungry piece of shit who helped get a racist criminal elected for president, (who mind you, wants me deported from my home country) I had to leave the platform I have held so much faith in for over a decade.

Is that enough? Or are we in agreement that it is indeed fucked up?
