it would take a very long time, but he would eventually. the first time jullus called him enkei he turned soooo red. it takes a Lot to fluster genkei but he was so caught off guard and just full of pure adoration in that moment that he couldn't function for like a solid 10 seconds.
(jullus was embarrassed too because he was Not Expecting That Reaction.)
