Hi, I just saw your recent lore article, and there's something that I find curious regarding her species: while it's said that she's not a hydra, one of the Chinese asterisms for the Hydra constellation is called Willow, alluding to her name. This might be just a coincidence in HG's part, but between this and her being a naga based on her Sargonian ancestry, it's quite interesting for me. I enjoyed the article nonetheless, can't wait for her

Actually after discussion with others and this ask, Saileach might just be a mix of various multiple headed dragons or serpents. Nagas are also lowkey hydras, except the only difference is that their heads do not grow again. Mythology is as confusing as it is interesting. An interesting coincidence if HG intended it.
