hello!! your dms arent open so im sending this here instead ^^ its drumrolls more songs i associate with stl characters! this one is "The Feeling" by Sammy Rae! despite the strong pep of it and the energizing loudness of the jazzrock, its a very shima song to me!

I imagine it as shima battling his own desires, craving to just once let go of his own inhibitions, to finally--feel his emotions to their greatest degree and know that they are his, to be present in his own life. but hes unable to let go of his fear of risking and the daunting possibility of losing even more than whats gone. Of again disappointing and ruining people even further. he weighs the worth of his entirety and the comfort of others.

That's what I picture it like! I hope you can take a listen to the song and enjoy it as much as I do! maybe you'll even see the devastating shima in my head ;D

WOAHHH… listening to it right now and I TOTALLY SEE THE VISION. YOU ARE COOKING. i can envision it as shima’s thought process around the culture festival arc, where his lackadaisical approach to love (“And it ain’t worth it! / Being hurt by love, is it worth it?”) conflicts with his desire to feel his emotions to their fullest (in this context, how he wants to be able to chase his dreams the same way mitsumi and kanechika can…) (“I wanna get lost in the feeling / wanna give into the night.”)

i think i ended up piggybacking on your own interpretation (WHICH I LOVE BY THE WAY!) but i absolutely see the shimavision with this one. i think the strong pep and bright energy actually really lends well to the lightheartedness of stl! the jazz rock also feels very stl-esque to me!

well, safe to say i’m adding this to the shima playlist :3c thank you so much for sending this through! i always love to listen to music, especially when you have an stl association to certain songs! thank you again!
