I don’t really care for greylock but I think it’s funny how they tried to give cedric someone his age and status to bounce off on but didn’t commit and he gets written off the show the next time he shows lol. I just don’t get the fascination with some ppl trying to give cedric a “normal” friend lol.

Another funny observation I made watching “baileywhoops” was roland instantly trusting greylock more than cedric. If cedric hadn’t made up with greylock i think he might have been pretty pissed. Hmph! This jester doesn’t take magic as seriously as he does!

Grimtrix is a little more interesting. There’s an observation to be made about why sorcerers don’t just stomp in and take over lmao. The ongoing theme of royals being looked down upon by the other classes is so!!! Intriguing to me lol. I thought the order of the wand could have made an interesting villain group (they could have made greylock interesting and i want to see more morgana).

The way grimtrix talked down to cedric in “day of the sorcerers” reminds me of a teacher being condescending towards an underperforming student. Cedric being patronized by male authority figures is hot. Would not say no to grimtrix nonconning cedric.

Hexley is very much ur typical hogwarts inspired magic school but hey it’s good to jazz it up. A magic school with dark secrets… I like think cedric was molested there. It’s a very complicated time for him. He still seemed to be exposed to hateful jeers from students and was definitely subject to hazing.

The teacher he had in his flashback (the sorcerers secret) was a handsome guy. Probably the only nice teacher cedric had… honestly I do think their relationship was platonic and kindly. Maybe one sided crushing on cedrics side but nothing more. It’s nice that cedric took his teachings to heart…

I’ve wanted to play around with the idea of older sorcerers having questionable apprenticeships with much younger students. Wizard pederasty. Some Greek love goin on (thinking about cedrics alliterations) lol. Mostly bc I think it’s funny to think about cedric having less than happy memories with a teacher of his but having his own conflicted emotions regarding Sofia.

Cedric being nonconned is a constant desire of mine. umu. I feel the world of sorcerers in stf is a decent avenue for it. I like to think about forbidden rituals and cedric, pitiful as he is, being suspect to such arcane practices…

It’s also amusing to think of him laughing off such things after all the tears. It’s a thing all sorcerers go through, right? R-right??? (Cut to Sofia in the corner listening and going :c)
