oh my ok im back because im Still head-in-hands-ing like exactly exactly. i really enjoyed how the fic had this thing centred around the idea of “will thorns return to iberia” and the whole thought process that went into it and i adored the ending of thorns basically seeing the world the way ely did before he went aboard rhodes and it made me so darn emotional (then again i shed tears everytime ely was on screen so i think i just cry easily..) absolutely loved the way the fic features so many other operators… the scene with ifrit was good… the whole rosmontis + her squad sequence was good.. reminded me of ely’s oprec like yeah he would do that… the bit with absinthe at the very start calling back to that mini story… augh thank you again for sharing that fic it lives in my head rent free and in my bookmarks now
