hi hiii could u share what shows youre watching recently and would u recommend them? anime or cartoons or even live action series stuff

YEET i didn't see this until now my bad!! To be honest I haven't been watching a tonne of new things lately solely because of Life TM being a lil busy but I have rewatched a few things for the comfort of not using my brain to think <3 anyway i came up with this extreme mess of a list for you.

Hmm anime-wise the only things i'm keeping up with are: love live nijigasaki school idol club season 2, and shokei shoujo no virgin road.

as you know, nijigasaki is a love live anime - do with that what you will mnFDHg it's not that deep! you've seen me whine about how they changed one of the character's motivations, but i still have fun with it. i am a love live liker at heart!!

'shokei shoujo no virgin road' (aka the executioner and her way of life) is kind of.. it has fanservice-y big titty moments and is clearly wlw-but-written-for-male-audience. however i did find the first couple episodes intriguing enough with the world building and main characters to then attempt reading ahead with the manga/light novel. without too many spoilers it's kind of an isekai. It's got some time travel drama going on. The main character is an assassin who is also a priestess and she uses her bible to magically kill people. The other main character is soooo normal and well adjusted and definitely not mentally unstable <3 also everyone is trying to either kill her or use her as a tool but she can't die because she has time powers <3. my recommendation of this is Only if you can close your eyes to fanservice (not that its the worst ive ever seen, but yknow) and some predatory lesbian trope stuff?? the bait and switch in the first ep did make me go YEAAAH though :)

i recently rewatched 'princess principal', which is another 12 ep anime that i had fun with and would recommend, even if the writing towards the end is a bit messy. if you haven't seen it already, the character design of the 5 main girls being all frilly is rather misleading for how dark some of the episodes get?? the premise of this show is that it's set in the early 1900's in a steampunk-style alternate version of london, and the city has been divided by a physical wall into east and west/the commonwealth and the monarchy. The main characters are spies working for the commonwealth (suspension of disbelief occasionally required considering how unsubtle almost all of their missions turn out to be but it is good fun!). They do a bizarre variety of spy missions including but not limited to: infiltrate laundry mill to find a poisoner man's clothes, infiltrate morgue to look at dead people's teeth, swap places with the literal princess of the country for Reasons? basically some of it is just for fun and some of it has some surprisingly dark undertones. The story is also told out of order which is a bit fun. Sadly in the last few episodes it slips a little with writing in that the ending feels quite rushed and thrown together, but aside from that i think it deserves some love.

I also rewatched 'violet evergarden' recently which is just visually stunning and also makes me cry every episode because im sensitive and a baby so if you haven't watched it before i do recommend it.

Other than this I just spent the past few months rewatching all the original star wars movies (i think i watched them with my family when i was a lot younger so i didnt remember or understand half of it back then. theyre still pretty fun and hold up even after all this time!) and i also ate the entirety of the mandalorian + the book of boba fett. Which, honestly, you dont NEED the whole background of the movies to understand what's going on (i watched this before rewatching the movies lol), if you wanted to try them out i think they're pretty enjoyable. shiny armour man go pew pew, protecc the baby :)

Um so hi i ended up typing a lot here if you managed to read all the way down this far thanks for asking im sorry for the long winded response... i hope this is at all helpful! if you need clarification on anything i can probably be a lot less waffly in dms lol my brain while writing this was all over the place. As a caveat I have the incredible ability to completely ignore the things i don't like about a show so long as there is at least one character that i like in it. case in point i managed to watch the entirety of darling in the franxx back when that came out (it was very bad.)
