I'm sold just by reading in the manner of how you described it. It would be a privilege to read it, Eve. I don't think i have found a poetry about that particular topic, maybe? There are holes in my memory. It is quite hard to recall something that is in the past. But of course i will not pressure you into unveiling your sacred work for everyone to see.

Aside from reading, i see someone's writing as a puzzle, it must be analyzed carefully so we can put together a picture and make our own interpretation out of it. Though, to do so without knowing the writer's history is quite tricky because we would never dare insult them with our false interpretation, would we?

Are you planning to take your PhD as well? Is it your dream to be a historian? Why history, Eve?

Oh yes... Carmilla, the classic lesbian gothic that inspired another classic that is Dracula. It is actually the book that made me fall in love with the genre, Eve. Or maybe i'm just a hopeless romantic waiting for my very own vampire lady to take me into her massive mansion and live together until the last drop of my blood sucked dry out of love?

I have been conversing about these things with myself and the wall of my room since forever, proven by how mouthy i became when i found you, another lover of literature. I fear of sounding idiotic whenever i open my mouth, Eve. Do my ramblings sound stupid? I really do hope not.

A little FYI for today, in motive to find another similarities between us, other than being a nerd and having a mother that is struggling with an illness, the works of Emily Dickinson, May Ziadeh, Richard Siken, Audre Lorde, Mary Oliver, and Adrianne Rich shocked me to the core of my being. Will you also tell me a list of poets that have influenced your writing the most, Eve?

I have read a lot of poetry that kind of treat love as both religion and a cult, I think? But not in a negative manner like I do. But maybe I haven't read enough poetry to find out, which makes me eager to read more when I have the time. Indeed, it is hard to recall and we do not have to force ourselves to do it. I will maybe, I don't really like posting my writings idk why? But I will surely someday.

Yes, I am planning to take my Ph.D if I get the scholarship to or when my parents wants to pay for my tuition like my masters... Because it is the only way to become a lecturer in my campus. (I need to at least being a Ph.D graduates)

Carmilla was very sensual to me, I do not recall much about it but all of the Carmilla art always pops around my timeline. And yes, I knew how it inspires Dracula. It is very badass to think that one of the very first works about vampires are about lesbians and not heterosexuals like how people deemed it to be. We all longed to be love no matter how bad we deny, it I guess? And I hope you find that hot lesbian vampire soon. If you know what I meant.

Omg me too, I have been yapping about my own interest for the longest of time. And no you do not sound stupid, you sound very smart and passionate about it. I can tell you genuinely likes what you read or what you talk about. You are no way a poser and all. I always find people who talks about their media consumption attractive.

I read almost every poets you mentioned especially Audre Lorde but and I have learnt a thing or two about Adrianne Rich. But this is the first time I heard about Mau Ziadeh.

I do not want to admit it but male romanticism poet really resonates with me. (Percy Shelley, T.S Elliot, William Wordsworth, Lord Byron, Scott Fitzgerald, and Mark Twain really makes me who I am today) I am currently diving deeper to Christina Rossetti, Hilda Doorlittle, Virginia Woolf, and Mary Oliver, yes. Just last year, I am trying to read more female poets work and yeah the writings are indeed very different from a female lens, which can be better or worse.
