YES YES a thousand times yes okay so to me canon matt is a sub with all of hyung line. bin jyung neul tael all have mental leverage over him in one form or the other. With bin it's their natural hierarchy (i don't see hard dom sub for them but bin takes a firmer hand bc matt likes it), with jyung again its the age hierarchy plus the nature of their dynamic which relies on jyung being the caretaker, with neul and tael; they both have more mental leverage but it differs a lil. For tael he enjoys having leverage over matt and loves to one up him, neul is just such a dom its a foregone conclusion that he will dom matt (ahem def unpopular opinion but neul is the most dom in the jbw legal line). matt just seems the type to want to dom for the sake of their partner but then gets overwhelmed and reduced into a pile of mush in the end anyway and i just Love that flavour of smut for him. LOL no no hm from top to bottom 😭😭😭 neul > bin > maet. At the end of the day i am a firm maet reun truther (bottom matt ftw!!!!) Howeverrrr my nsfw thoughts for neulbinmaet are VERRYYY complicated. Neul doms them both. He would bottom, sure but he will always be the most dominant out of the 3. Matt is very vers switch but he tends to go for sub more so bec he gets overwhelmed. i feel your rage so much!! it takes away so much excitement seeing other people frame the whole thing differently and discredit how close they are. i kept muting everyone that posted anything in that direction but it still has a sour after taste. it's so insanely frustrating that as soon as it comes to sungseok all these crazy things they're doing don't matter anymore bc people have apparently decided they're unshippable or even just not that close. it's so crazy to me that a duo that has TWO MATCHING CUSTOMIZED RINGS AND a ton of other matching items AND plans to get matching TATTOOS gets such little attention, like when other kpop duos get anything matching or even matching rings (the example in my head is dotae from nct) it's all over tiktok and people are freaking out but for sungseok there's nothing. i think it's also bc not many big accounts are posting about them and the main focus is geonmaet or bnb or gyubrik (which is also totally valid), but it's totally not okay to then ruin everything for the people that enjoy sungseok as a duo (doesn't have to be shipping). this isn't even just about the rings, there were so many instances where some people hated on others for just liking them which is so insanely toxic. sorry for this long rant but i have so much frustration inside of me bc of this .-.

ah hm... idk? /gen personally i like writing/reading said kinks but i don't have a reason why I just like it because i like it and i think it's fun but maybe it's rooted in my love for babies and kids in general? Idk about other people tho because i know many people who don't want kids also like the kink as a concept.... i guess its just a mystery lol at least to me it is! !!!! first of all thank u sm for this ask anon I've been waiting for someone to ask me about my non otp ships dkdjdjdjd maettael are so very sweet 😭 in the simplest of explanations, they're so lovely with each other but it all balances off because they also bicker a Lot. The best friend vibes go off the charts. With the rps lens on tho ohhhh taerae is so dkdjdd smitten and matt is equally as down bad. The song taerae wrote for matt and him crying because matt looked pretty in the sunset will forever remain my maettael roman empires.
I just think they're neat really! A very good ship, a beautiful and lovely dynamic irl it's just so good. I think taerae was someone matt needed in his life, a same aged friend that he previously most likely wished he had! And honestly imo it's like. Matthew teaches Taerae to Feel and just lay off the many many thoughts he has while Taerae teaches Matthew to be free and less scared of boundaries (esp in terms of like age or hierarchy, in both ways; up and down). Idk if this makes sense but yeah KDJDJS that's the best way I can explain it! I think they really do fulfil essential roles in eos lives and I'm so glad they found eo and became such close friends. Watching them go from acquaintances to best friends was a beautiful journey!
Honestly looking forward to more of them together because they always manage to bring a smile to my fave

oh god this is going to be long so I'll just give one instance. most recent? ehhhhhhh maybeeee most recent. so we know how the mattbin live happened right. how it was a shock bc matt wasn't supposed to be there but then 3 mins into the live hanbin got asked if matt has ever fallen asleep in his arms and he was like YEAHHH actually he's with me rn! My baby~ and Matthew started to laugh right. So like. Matt was so damn silent until Hanbin brought him up like it was literally as if he wasn't there. This makes me wonder how many late night voice lives Hanbin must have done while Matthew sat by his side waiting for Hanbin to be done so Hanbin and he could sleep together AAAAAAAHHH so yeah. this isn’t rps related but I fucking hate how divided zeroses are 😭 I get it we needed the solo fandoms to promote the members during bp. But now is there really much of a need? An example was the new colorgram video being spilt into 1 million pieces. I swear I didn’t see one person upload the ot9 video. We need more ot9 accounts. Also I hate when jbw is about to go on stage and fans start cheering for individual members like “hanbin fighting” HOW ABOUT YOU CHEER FOR THE WHOLE GROUP?!?? I personally never call myself by members fandom names. I’m a zerose POINT BLANK PERIOD. idk it pisses me off. Ok bye 🫶
hi hello very valid point but I think hmm as someone who's stanned a survival show group before.... this is unfortunately just how it is 😭 sub randomly exist because of the survival show mentality that every fan gets into and this is then further carried onto post debut behaviour. I do not approve of it at all bc I am personally an ot9 fan but I can see why it happens, yknow? It sucks but its... kind of the norm. I wish we could change it completely but I feel like 2.5 years is just simply not enough time and furthermore the way the company treats the members also creates discontent and leads to more solo stans so yeah. It's not an easily solved problem but I wish it was because time and time again we've seen how happy the members are to see and hear from ot9 fans, we've seen how solo/sf fans treat other members they don't stan (????weird!) in less than savoury manners. I totally get why you're pissed because it pisses me off too 😭 sf culture can get toxic rq and I've seen that happen a lot in our fandom as well sigh but idk if we can do anything to change it just by ourselves... it sucks but yeah
