How do you feel about other major tabletop settings in general? Any parts of them missing from Golarion that you love? Any clear elements that make you prefer Golarion?
I'm actually relatively new to TTRPGs, I only started delving into the Golarion Setting 2 years ago when I started running PF Adventure Paths. So far I haven't felt anything missing from the setting and I've been collecting a lot of the campaign setting books from 1E and 2E to learn as much as I can.
I don't have a lot to compare it to since this is the first and only TTRPG setting that I've explored in detail, but I really enjoy the variety of nations, locations, and people across Golarion. I like the flow of important historical events and how unique each of the nations is from the next as well as how detailed each of those campaign setting books are. I love that there is a potential locale for just about every kind of game no matter the tone, genre, or subject matter.
I have no doubt that there are plenty of other ttrpg settings that are just as exciting and offer similarly varied content, but Golarion is the one that found its way into my heart first. I've been enjoying drawing lots of fanart for the setting, and I love seeing other people picking it up and taking interest in it as well.
So far, my favorite setting is the Ravounel area, I love the history of rebellion against tyranny and the potential challenges with Cheliax and Nidal as neighbors.
