i watched some of ur speed paints and saw that sometimes u like paint the values of the piece in black and white and then add color after? how do u do that and make it not look too desaturated, like what kind of blending modes do u use on the layers or do u just like change the grey to whatever color it’s supposed to be? also your art is so amazing and vibrant and a big inspiration 🤧💞

HI HI!!! I finally did a piece where i do grayscale!!! Full disclosure, i don't always use the grayscale method. sometimes i use it if the piece is complex (ot8 pieces for example), or if im in a rush (like the recent lmolm lee know cover!) idk why i do, i think its because someone once told me its faster but i dont think it makes much of a difference time wise bec sometimes it takes me even longer LMAO;;; anyway i hope it helps even a lil bit!! tutorial link
