any updates on the essay zine you had started?

hey friend! so it turns out I only ended up receiving one essay submission 😔 I absolutely should have updated you all about that. If there's still participant interest I'm definitely interested in designing it but as of now it has been put on the back-burner!

For your zine, is there any word count minimum or maximum? Are multiple submissions allowed? (There are multiple topics I might want to write about, and I don't think I could pull them all together in one cohesive piece lol.) Thank you for organizing this, I am excited!

I was thinking around 600-3k! The last time I did something like this for my undergraduate thesis, entries averaged to around 500 words per piece and I definitely think I could accommodate higher for this! Yes multiple submissions are allowed!!

Hey, for the zine when you say gay does this include lesbians too or are you wanting just a male gay perspective?

No I am using gay as the umbrella term! More than happy to include lesbians and tbh that's who I'm expecting the most from due to the circles I swim in!
