sorry for the late reply! yeah it’s funny considering Yuta’s technique is literally copying and we know Sukuna didn’t integrate further into Yuuji’s body so there’s still a possibility that the body might not have the time/chance to absorb Sukuna’s CT. indeed some who claim themselves as Team Sukuna are actually Yuuji fans and I’ve already noticed it since Gojo vs Sukuna fight. they wanted Sukuna to win because they think Yuuji is supposed to be the one to defeat Sukuna. saw them switched side as soon as Yuuji came in the picture lmao. as for the unpredictable, I’m sure Gege will. he’s been consistently doing that after all (and some got angry as a result when things didn’t happen the way they wanted).

sorry for the late reply!! tbh I’ve been into jjk for 3 years but most of the time I’m in my own safe space among skfs/skn fans, so I don’t know much about that side of the fandom but since I also read the manga, you’re definitely not mistaken.

I believe it’s a fandom’s headcanon that is so widespread to the point that some people confuse it with canon. it’s clear in the manga that the jujutsu tech financially provides Megumi and his sister in exchange for becoming a sorcerer, so it’s not like Gojo spoils him and his sister in that way. he’s not trying to become Megumi’s father or anything because otherwise Megumi would have thought of him differently than merely a teacher whom he owes his life to, and otherwise he would have regarded him as high as he did Tsumiki. And yet the fact is, the only one who managed to do that was Yuuji.

but it’s not like Gojo didn’t do anything; he helped him away from the Zenin clan and taught him to fight as a sorcerer. Gojo showed him a way to avoid him and his sister from going a poverty path and most likely the only adult who came to them at the right time. it’s not something to be taken lightly as well.

I think the assumption rose from the first scene where Sukuna said “where are the women? where are the children?” which would give some people first impression that he could be the R word.

at that time it’s fair, since we didn’t know a lot about Sukuna other than he’s a dangerous evil. but the more we got to know him, I personally believe that’s not the case at all. during above-mentioned scene, Sukuna continued with saying “It’ll be a massacre!” which we shouldn’t ignore, bcs it could have been simply about a massacre than the R. also we found out latter that Sukuna is a cannibal as he eats humans. Most likely he referred to those women and children as foods instead of, you know. he could be thinking about eating them in the most literal meaning.

We should also consider that all this time Sukuna has been called many things: The King of Curse, the calamity, the Disgraced One, but not once he’s called or even implied as a r*pist. The scene with Yorozu to me rather implied that he’s not interested in women in that way. furthermore, we had an example of how a character who was being implied as a r*pist (hint: Naoya) and Sukuna has never had the same implications so far.

But, there is also this scene with Sukuna commenting about Nobara, which some people use as a possible proof that he’s a r*pist. Unfortunately I forgot the exact words (he said about being active or what? I don’t remember) but I think Sukuna meant it not in that way, you know… (what a weak argument, if only I could remember Sukuna’s words in that scene).

anyway based on what I mentioned above, I personally believe he’s not a r*pist, but rather a mass-murderer and cannibal.

I honestly think he meant it so that Mahoraga would give his all as he is Sukuna’s now which means he’s fueled by Sukuna’s CE instead of Megumi’s (or I guess that’s what I think).

In my understanding, いい and 良い(よい) have the same meaning of “good” or “great”, just that the former is more casual and more commonly used than the other and there are also differences in how it’s used in a grammatical sentence (like you have to use yoi to say よかった, not いかった). But as I tried to dig more in the differences, I guess it’s that 良い are naturally used only in positive contexts, but いい is more widely used as it can naturally be in both positive and negative contexts (like “good riddance”, maybe, lol). on the other hand, 良い(yoi) are used in some phrases like “have a good year” or “have a good weekend”.

But in Sukuna’s with Megumi and now Mahoraga. I think he both meant it as a praise (“great”), so it’s the same meaning, yet you can see he was more excited in seeing Megumi’s development, looking from his face and how he’s repeating the “great”. He’s more casual with it in my opinion, like he’s surprised and he’s proud. On the other hand with Mahoraga, seeing his expression and how he’s being kinda formal, it looks to me that it’s a praise for something that is already expected. Granted he’s also in the middle of a fight so he needs to stay cool and calm as well lmao but it’s also interesting the way Sukuna covered his mouth while doing that.

It’s just my interpretation anyway. I’m not and far from being a native so I can be wrong.
