where is this coming from 😭😭 LOL BEEF but to be serious um. in my experience yes 😅 i have had both, sometimes separately and sometimes at the same time, so i have gotten it from both sides. I’d say (typically): bulimics are scared that anorexics will have a superiority complex about being more “successful” in the Holy Art of Starvation, so they get insecure and lash out. Anorexics are hangry, & sometimes jealous about bulimics being able to eat a lot and still be skinny, so they have the propensity to establish that they are, in fact, suffering more than you. .. people with EDs just don’t tend to get along together in general (outside of explicit pro-ana space). Simply talking about their ED’s will always TRIGGER each other, so it’s hard, but I’d say it’s best not to have friends that are disordered if you also are… unless you are both very strong headed (which you aren’t, because you have an eating disorder🤣) I like to talk crassly about ED’s because i hate the over-sensitive culture surrounding it. People with eating disorders aren’t babies and i think coddling it & treating it in a reverent way only makes it worse. Often people with ED’s want to retreat into childlike states and, in retrospect, i’d always prefer to be pulled out of that than left to fester..erm but that’s just me XD
