before i start a story, i have to be certain what ending it will have; will it be happy, sad, or both? and when that's finally decided, all the convos, events and scenarios will just be a stepping stone that will lead up to that ending i have in mind! basically, everything revolves around the finale, even the twists and the reveals that i make. it helps me keep myself on track to reduce the unnecessary scenes all throughout (((:
