admittedly, i have not watched every cartoon, but i have watched many, many cartoons, and have a particular fondness when i find a good action-adventure series, espesh one that takes itself so seriously. gargoyles is like, honestly, the best american cartoon ive seen, objectively. most things i like that i think might come close are still left in the dust by the insane control and narrative tightness greg weisman had on this fucking thing. gargoyles is a well oiled machine. beautifully animated, great characters, fantastic writing and pace, even if u want more u can live wholely satisfied on the two seasons. someone offstage whispers something chronicles of who? what the hell is that
