hi same anon who asked the first question! thanks for answering and omg im literally the same, I saw a really amazing piece of chigiri fanart and was like “this is a sign to get into blue lock, youre gonna be my fav” then i read the manga and since i paid so much attention to every panel he was in, i started noticing his interactions with kuni a lot and was like wait… i kinda love you too… chigiri fan to kunigami/kunigiri fan pipeline is real.

also, do you play pwc now that it’s been released globally? Someone needs to make a kunigiri club soon i have no friends among all the dudebros
and promise this is the last thing but do you have any thoughts on the bm vs manshine match? i thought the match itself was fine but i wasnt really into yukimiya’s development and i wish there were more team red interactions

YOU ARE VERY MUCH WELCOME! i adore drawing them. also i haven't played pwc yet, i tried out the jp vers on release but i wasn't a huge fan of the gameplay - i'm probably going to install the eng vers eventually though, i don't want to miss out on any kunigiri content especially when they're that silly. YOU SHOULD MAKE THE CLUB YOURSELF! i know a few kunigiriers who play pwc, i'm sure you'll be able to find our people eventually hahahah
i fear i wasn't a huge huge fan of the bm vs manshine match, i like yukimiya as a character but his development was too lengthy for me (i think that is mainly bc thats the moment i started to read the manga week by week, if i had binge read it - i probably wouldnt have minded all that much). i wasn't too sold on the reonagi reconciliation bit either, i wish reo had been less quick to ''forgive'' nagi. but considering their character, i Guess it makes sense. and on the reo topic, i genuinely find it odd that there's only one (iirc?) kunireo interaction, they have seen eachother at their worst and you're telling me reo didn't care that kunigami had a 180° personality switch in the span of like a month ? or that kunigami wasn't at the very least surprised when reonagi made their comeback ? no way. we were so robbed.
from a shipper's perspective, i think that the kunigiri part pre-match raised my expectations a bit too high compared to what it actually was. i never thought chigiri would actually manage to ''wake kunigami up'' because it would have been way too early and easy (and im glad it's happening now in pxg) BUT i wish it had been a little more relevant. its said that chigiri got ghosted, sure okay, but show me that! i feel like an extra scene right after bm's victory would have been nice to see - even if it was as simple as chigiri calling kunigami's name and getting brushed off. just Something.
