I'm confused, the Second Abundance war was way before Jingliu was even born, wasn't it? It was in the 5000s while Jingliu was born in the 6000s. So I don't think the imminent war with the Denizens of Abundance was that. It could've been, I think, their rescue of the Yuque which was where HCQ was said to have formed. The extra confusing part is iirc the 2nd abundance war also involved saving the Yuque but specifically from Shuhu's attacks whereas the battle that HCQ were formed in never talks about Shuhu. Then there's also Jing Yuan saying that this alert came from the Yaoqing which was never mentioned in any of these conflicts........
anon im so glad u brought this up because i was waiting to correct myself but yes!!! 2nd abundance war was long before the hcq was formed and its more likely to have just been a minor war conflict that jy was called to 😭😭 i suppose it wouldve been more accurate to say “the aftermath” of the war was prolonged …. it had a very long lasting impact and most of it was caused by shuhu which is why my mind kinda muddles it tgth. ill re-read up on the lore and double check sources later ^^!!! ill qrt with a few corrections after
