/genq how old were jing yuan and yingxing when they met because i see some people draw them as really young kids, some are teenagers, sometimes they're different ages, i can't really tell and all i remember is that jing yuan is called "boy" but isn't baiheng called "girl" too but she's an adult? i'm confused 😓 artists draw them differently and people talk about them differently so i can't tell if they were young kids at the same time or not
they were likely adults about the same age range ^^ the lieutenant jing yuan we see in the wardance was also a young adult (you must be age of majority to hold a military commissioner’s position according yo yanqing’s lore), and that was just short of the hcq’s formation. that, and the fact jingliu comments how she once met yingxing as a child and that they met again when he was later an adult on the luofu, to my understanding, means yx only moved there once he was of age and jing yuan was, too. artists just like to not read lore sometimes or for some reason make weird art , unfortunately :,)
