I’ve been thinking about skk after Dazai’s port mafia defection a lot lately. I won’t say too much about it right now because I wanna make it it’s own post eventually, but I think it’s possible that Chuuya went through a period where he started drinking more, and became a bit self-destructive in an effort to force Dazai to come back, if only just to give him an explanation and a proper goodbye. I also hc that Chuuya tried to call Dazai after he left. He left him a lot of angry voicemails before accepting that the number was probably no longer in use. But at that point it became a habit, and if Dazai wasn’t going to hear them anyway, what was the harm in continuing to call and leave messages (Dazai, of course, hears every one, but can’t pick up the phone or call him back even if he wants to)
