kov chuuya :((( man :((( he has been so wronged by people he trusts :(( i hate fyodor so fucking much tbh
He really has :( fyodor is a complicated guy, and definitely not a good guy at all. I wouldn’t say he’s evil, but he’s sly and calculated. Fyodor was raised in an international crime ring, a child of empire, the heir to sin. From birth he’s been taught discretion, how to omit parts of a truth, how to charm and manipulate to get what he needs. He’s a master criminal, and always has been. Chuuya liked that about him, liked how regal and gilded his life was. Part of Chuuya’s desire for fyodor was absolutely based in his desire for power. He liked Fyodor’s looks, his money, his lifestyle. He wanted that life for himself, and fell in love with the idea of it. Fyodor, on the other hand, fell in love with Chuuya’s fire and recklessness. Chuuya just isn’t the same as fyodor, though. He grew up pretty normal, middle class, and just happened to be thrust into incredible wealth through a string of tragedy. He didn’t have that same upbringing to give him that discretion during difficult times, and it manifested in outbursts. That’s why most of Chuuya’s friends and family are actually okay with fyodor. When fyodor begins to crack under pressure, it’s in words, in subtle movements, in behind the scenes deals and wagers. When Chuuya cracks, it’s explosive, he tries to fill the hole in his heart with chemicals, he gets behind the wheel, he shuts everyone out in bouts of paranoia. Fyodor ruined Chuuya quietly, while Chuuya ruined fyodor in a way that was obvious and tangible to everyone around them.
